Search readiness at a glance

A plain-language summary of where the website stands for search engines, AI assistants, and local search, and what to do next.

Kissee Inspection Services · kisseeinspections.com vs the redesign prototype · Audit date 2026-09-30

Overall readiness

On our checklist, the live site scores 62/100 (fair) and the redesign prototype scores 73/100 (fair). The prototype is ahead on page basics and markup. The biggest open item on both sides is the large set of near-identical city and service pages, which needs a content decision from Kissee.

4 of 32 live checks are left out of the score, not counted as passes:

  • Not measured, 3: no data was pulled, so no figures are given. Rankings, traffic, speed, and AI citations; Google Business Profile; Reviews on Google.
  • Not verified, 1: not checked from an available source. Directory listings.

Top 5 findings

  1. Many live pages are near copies.180 service pages repeat once per town with about 99.7% of the same words, and the prototype still carries them.
  2. The live pages are heavy.About 338 KB of HTML per page, and 87 to 116 requests (3 to 4 MB) on the phone-width pages loaded in Chrome, with generic SEO blocks under the quote form.
  3. Machines get a partial picture.Only 29 of 377 pages have a share image, 1 has FAQ markup, and the business appears only inside other markup.
  4. The prototype fixes the page basics. One H1 per page, a meta description on every page, business schema on 342 pages, FAQ markup on 151, and pages about 20 KB.
  5. Some figures need Kissee to confirm.Rating, review count, and inspections completed differ between pages; we have not picked one.

Top 5 next moves

  1. Decide which city and service pages to keep, give each real local content, and 301 the rest.Owner: content / client
  2. Keep the review copy out of search now with noindex on the review pages.Owner: dev
  3. Confirm the Google rating, review count, and inspections completed, then use one set everywhere.Owner: client
  4. At launch, fix the 6 canonicals, add share images, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, a 404 page, and llms.txt.Owner: dev
  5. Grant Google Business Profile, Search Console, and GA4 access so listings and a baseline can be checked.Owner: client / GBP

Facts for Kissee to confirm

These appear differently in different places. We have not picked one; Kissee should confirm the right figure before launch.

  • Google rating. We were told the About page says 4.7 and the home page says 4.9. On Sep 30, 2026 we found 4.9 ('Based on 800+ Reviews') on both live pages, and 4.9 on the prototype home and About. We found 4.7 nowhere. Kissee to confirm the current figure.
  • Inspections completed. The live home page says 10000+; the live About page, and the counter strip on most service and city pages, say 9000+. The prototype uses 10,000+ on home and About.
  • Review count. '800+ reviews' appears on the live badge, in the prototype hero, in the prototype heading '800+ Five-Star Google Reviews' and the line '800+ verified Google reviews', and in the home markup (800). Not checked against Google.
  • Social profiles. The prototype footer links Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. The live footer links none; the same profiles appear only in live structured data.
  • Earlier search figures. An earlier version of the presentation quoted clicks, positions, a 4.95 rating, and 919 reviews from a third-party report. Those figures were not re-verified and have been removed from the presentation.

About this audit

First version, Sep 30 2026. Built from a crawl of all 439 URLs found on kisseeinspections.com (sitemaps, menu, footer, and links), live robots.txt and llms.txt, headless Chrome loads of four live pages, and an audit of all 378 prototype pages. Rankings, Google Business Profile, Google reviews, traffic, and speed scores were not measured.

This is the first version of the Kissee Inspection Services report, so there are no earlier scores to compare.

The gap list has 20 items: 2 High, 8 Med, 10 Low.

Want the detail?

The in-depth report lists every check with its source. The gap report is the prioritized fix list with owners. The live vs prototype compare lets you filter and search every check.

How to read this. Scores are checklist readiness only (Pass = 2, Needs work or Opportunity = 1, Gap = 0; Not verified, Opportunity (not verified), and Not measured are excluded). They are not rankings, traffic, or search-volume estimates, and none are claimed here.

Live findings come from the sources named on each check, all read from kisseeinspections.com on 2026-09-30. Anything we could not check directly is marked Not verified. Rankings, the Google Business Profile, Google reviews, traffic, and speed scores were not measured and are marked Not measured; no figures are given for them. Prototype items marked "Designed for go-live, add at launch." are technical plumbing (production robots.txt, sitemap.xml, final canonical tags, llms.txt) that belongs on the production domain, not the review copy.
